The Study Podcast is a space for conversation shaped by curiosity. Each episode features a thoughtful exchange with a fellow learner — someone engaged in the ongoing pursuit of understanding through writing, sustained study, teaching practice, lived experience, or experiment.

We aim to ask better questions, to remain curious, and to continue learning so that we may live as well and wisely as possible.
ABOUT THE HOST
Guided by curiosity, connection, and the pursuit of understanding.
Tayo is an interested person, drawn to the ideas, questions, and pursuits of his fellow humans. A former teacher once described him as a synthetic thinker — someone energized by making connections between the seemingly disparate, diving into deeper intellectual waters, and developing the questions that make that kind of exploration possible.

Once a teacher of philosophy and religion, he now works as a wilderness ranger and community science coordinator, and volunteers with both the Mountain Rescue Association and the New Mexico Medical Reserve Corps. Tayo lives off-grid in the high desert of New Mexico with a passel of creatures, grounded in a daily relationship with this beautiful, wondrous planet.
