Essays and conversations exploring the character and leadership of America's presidents and first ladies

ABOUT THE SERIES

Prominent voices reflecting on the presidency.

In Pursuit is a national essay series created by More Perfect and shared in partnership with The Study. The series brings together prominent historians, writers, and civic voices to reflect on the lives, leadership, and decisions of American presidents and first ladies.

Contributors include George W. Bush, Danielle Allen, Sharon McMahon, and others who explore the character, challenges, and historical context of those who have held the nation's highest offices.

Through this partnership, The Study republishes selected essays and hosts virtual lectures with the authors, bringing these reflections to our community of lifelong learners.
