About this class:

This 5-session online course explores the fierce debates over America’s founding document—covering the union, Congress, the presidency, the judiciary, and the Bill of Rights. Through primary source readings and guided discussions, participants gain insight into how competing visions shaped the Constitution and continue to influence American democracy today.

Instructor bio: Timothy Moore taught high school for 30 years before joining the Center for the Study of the American Constitution, where he has served as Deputy Director for the past 15 years. He co-edits the Documentary History of the Ratification of the Constitution and oversees the Center’s educational outreach initiatives.
